[I]gnoring “the little things” in favor of “the big stuff” makes the big stuff that much harder to eradicate, because it is the pervasive, ubiquitous, inescapable little things that create the foundation of a sexist culture on which the big stuff is dependent for its survival.   1. Thanks for posting this… such a frightening society that members of the media can spout stereotypes like this about women without being reprimanded at the very least. In fact they are likely praised for increasing viewer numbers.
